About the role

The Electrical Technician (Level 1) is responsible for applying core electrical concepts to maintain, diagnose, and repair the 24 V electrical system of Liebherr trucks. The role involves working with electrical schematics, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and using specialized diagnostic equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Apply DC and AC electricity principles, test currents, cable capacity calculations, and circuit analysis using electrical drawings.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the 24 V electrical system according to Liebherr OEM manuals.
• Perform basic high‑voltage component inspections, repairs, and assist in part replacements under supervision.
• Operate diagnostic tools such as Fluke Megger, multimeters, clamp meters, thermographic cameras, and test benches to collect circuit data.
• Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics to quickly locate faults.
• Generate detailed failure, inspection, quality, and repair reports, including change justification and data backup.
• Complete work orders, perform metrological measurements, and apply correct torque values per factory standards.
• Conduct risk analyses (ATS), near‑miss reporting, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of industrial electricity, solid‑state devices (SCR, controlled rectifiers), and insulating material classifications.
• Ability to follow up‑to‑date factory manuals and safety procedures.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of low‑voltage truck electrical systems.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
