Systems Engineer – CCA (Caribbean Central America)

About the role

The Systems Engineer for our Caribbean Central America (CCA) organization independently designs, configures, and supports both on‑premise and cloud infrastructure. You will work on a wide range of hardware and software platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and performance for global applications.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain monitoring tools, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and other collaboration applications.
• Design, implement, and support server and storage solutions across TD SYNNEX owned and cloud platforms.
• Provide operational support for regional network services, handling outages and assisting senior engineers on complex issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, asset inventories, and configuration records.
• Analyze vendor invoices, manage inventory, and order equipment as needed.
• Continuously update technical knowledge and pursue skill‑expansion opportunities.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of relevant systems engineering experience.
• Associate degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as VMWare VCP‑DCV, MCSA, Azure Associate, VCSA, ITIL Foundation, LPIC‑1, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, or AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
• Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to follow and request clarification on instructions.
