Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

The Supply Chain Specialist ensures product availability and uninterrupted supply to customers by managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and collaborating across functions. This role acts as a key liaison between commercial, logistics, quality, regulatory, finance, regional supply teams, third‑party providers and manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels, monitor shelf‑life, slow‑moving stock and mitigate stock‑out risks.
• Execute replenishment plans, identify supply constraints and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate product movements with warehouses, logistics providers and distribution partners, tracking inbound and outbound shipments.
• Resolve transportation, warehousing and distribution issues, and track logistics performance metrics.
• Collaborate with customer service to address order fulfillment challenges, backorders and supply disruptions.
• Monitor supply chain performance, identify operational risks and support business continuity planning.
• Develop and maintain performance reports, dashboards and master data in ERP systems.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and participate in cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar supply chain role.
• Intermediate English (B1+) and ability to communicate with international teams.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
• Experience using AI tools and advanced Microsoft Excel.
