Senior Project Manager

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager at APPLY you will lead complex digital initiatives for top consumer and entertainment brands, blending agency consulting expertise with AI‑enabled delivery. You will drive projects from strategy through execution while championing Agile practices and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex digital projects from initiation to delivery, managing scope, timelines, budgets and resources across fixed‑price and time‑and‑material contracts.
• Own core delivery artifacts such as SOWs, project plans, risk logs and status reports, and adapt Agile, hybrid‑Agile or waterfall methods to fit each engagement.
• Ensure AI‑enabled “agentic” delivery by setting guardrails, reviewing AI‑generated outputs and managing failure modes like hallucinations or model drift.
• Serve as primary client contact, run workshops, communicate progress and align expectations with senior stakeholders.
• Mentor cross‑functional teams, coach junior Project Managers and foster a collaborative, servant‑leadership culture.

Required profile

• 8+ years delivering end‑to‑end digital solutions in consulting or agency environments for enterprise clients.
• Proven ability to partner with senior client leadership (Director, VP, C‑suite) and navigate complex stakeholder discussions.
• Strong communication, emotional intelligence and a customer‑centric mindset.
• Comfort with fast‑changing AI‑driven environments and a proactive, problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Agile and waterfall project‑management frameworks.
• Project‑management tools: JIRA, Confluence, Notion, Instagantt, Smartsheet, Google Suite.
• Modern digital ecosystems: composable/headless CMS (Contentful, Contentstack), e‑commerce platforms (CommerceTools, BigCommerce), loyalty (Talon.one, EagleEye), identity (Okta, Auth0, Stytch), personalization (Segment, Ninetailed).
• Technical concepts: AI, machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing, CI/CD pipelines and platform integrations.
