About the role
Join APM Terminals, a leading global port operator, as a Senior Procurement Specialist in Panama. You will work in a dynamic, international environment, driving cost optimisation and supplier performance for the Port of Balboa.
Key responsibilities
- Manage strategic supplier performance through evaluations, KPIs and continuous improvement plans.
- Identify and implement cost optimisation initiatives, preparing analyses and executive reports.
- Train suppliers on the Supplier Registry and verify documentation submissions.
Required profile
- College degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, International Business or related field.
- At least one year of experience handling large volumes of procurement information.
- Knowledge of customs procedures and Incoterms.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Continuous‑improvement mindset; Lean methodology is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
