Senior Marketing Automation Specialist

About the role

Apply Digital is seeking a Senior Marketing Automation Specialist to join its fast‑growing Martech team. The role focuses on creating and managing email and push notification campaigns for a diverse portfolio of consumer and entertainment brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive email templates and push notifications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with email developers and client success managers to troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Participate in stand‑up meetings to prioritize tasks and meet delivery deadlines.
• Work directly with clients to gather requirements, answer questions, and iterate on work‑in‑progress.
• Ensure all communications comply with brand standards, industry best practices, and CAN‑SPAM regulations.
• Test and validate emails using Litmus and Email on Acid.
• Implement program logic in marketing platforms, make mock API calls with Postman, and handle edge cases and user segmentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional email production and development experience.
• Strong understanding of HTML/CSS specific to email rendering.
• Experience working with JSON data structures and API integrations (GET/POST).
• Ability to interpret data feeds and translate them into dynamic campaign logic.
