Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

About the role

Electric Power Engineers, Inc. (EPE) is building the grid of the future and needs a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join the FAST product team. You will design, develop, test and deploy cloud‑based solutions that scale transmission power‑systems engineering for EPE and its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the software team to create, test and launch cloud‑based applications for the energy sector.
• Maintain and enhance existing SaaS products, ensuring scalability, performance and security.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Work with Python, FastAPI, React, Typescript, Docker and Kubernetes to deliver high‑quality code.
• Contribute to code reviews, bug fixes, performance tuning and CI/CD pipeline improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Power System Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional software or SaaS development experience.
• 3+ years of Python development, specifically with FastAPI REST services.
• 4+ years of React experience in full‑stack SaaS applications.
• Proven ability to mentor junior developers and drive code quality.
