Senior Design Engineer (Bilingual English) – Remote

About the role

Bradken is seeking a senior design engineer to lead the development of next‑generation mining products within its Mineral Processing Business Line. The role is remote but includes regular technical visits to mining sites and close collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager in Panama.

Key responsibilities

• Develop advanced 3D models for high‑wear applications and ensure optimal material flow.
• Run 3D DEM simulations to predict wear patterns, optimise liner profiles and validate performance.
• Perform precision reverse‑engineering of components to identify improvement opportunities.
• Produce detailed 2D technical drawings for manufacturing and installation.
• Translate customer needs into high‑performance engineering solutions in partnership with the Regional Sales Manager.
• Conduct regular site visits, monitor performance and propose cost‑saving or optimisation measures.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience delivering innovative products aligned with customer operational needs.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Strong communication skills across all organisational levels.
