Senior Data Scientist – AI Security

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the core AI team of a fast‑growing technology company that secures AI applications. You will design, build and optimise NLP models that detect risky AI interactions such as sensitive‑data exposure, unsafe content and adversarial prompts.

Key responsibilities

• Curate, clean and maintain large datasets of safe and unsafe prompts, sensitive‑data scenarios and adversarial examples.
• Train, fine‑tune and evaluate transformer‑based and large language models for real‑time risk detection.
• Develop custom classifiers and NER models to identify sensitive information.
• Design evaluation pipelines, benchmarks and optimise inference for production environments.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer or related role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with NLP, transformer architectures and modern language‑model frameworks.
• Proven ability to work independently on ambiguous ML problems and deliver production‑ready solutions.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hugging Face and scikit‑learn libraries.
• Pandas for data preparation.
• NLP techniques such as tokenisation, text classification and NER.
