Senior Data Architect (Snowflake) – Market Research – LATAM

About the role

Truelogic is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the design, modeling, ingestion, and optimization of a large‑scale Snowflake and dbt platform for a market‑research client. The role is fully remote and focuses on transforming raw S3 event data into reliable core tables and dimensional marts for analytics and data science.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable core tables and incremental dbt models for billion‑row datasets, using merge strategies, clustering, and idempotent reprocessing.
• Implement identity‑resolution solutions, handle late‑arriving data, and create fact and dimension marts for BI developers, analysts, and data scientists.
• Develop reliable ingestion pipelines from Amazon S3 to Snowflake using Snowpipe, stages, storage integrations, and COPY INTO.
• Administer Snowflake environments, including RBAC, security policies, warehouse configuration, and cost management.
• Monitor pipeline stability, data freshness, and optimize performance and cost through clustering, materializations, and query profiling.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Analytics Engineering.
• 3+ years hands‑on with production Snowflake solutions and advanced SQL expertise.
• Proven ability to solve complex data problems independently and communicate technical decisions to both engineers and business leaders.

Required skills

• Snowflake (RBAC, Snowpipe, stages, clustering, cost management)
• dbt (incremental models, snapshots, macros, testing)
• SQL (complex queries, window functions, semi‑structured data)
• AWS services (S3, IAM, SNS, SQS)
• Python (code review)
• Data modeling (dimensional, slowly changing dimensions, conformed dimensions)

What we offer

• 100% remote work with flexible hours.
• Highly competitive USD compensation.
• Paid time off and focus on work‑life balance.
• Opportunities to work with top American companies on high‑impact projects.
