SAP TMS Functional Engineer AMS

About the role

Signify is looking for a SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Engineer to join its Application Management Services (AMS) team in Panama City. The role will support the global greenfield S/4HANA rollout and ensure stable, compliant, and efficient transportation processes in a post‑go‑live environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support Logistics Business Process Owners, key users, and project teams in maintaining SAP TM solutions aligned with the global template while deploying the S/4HANA implementation locally.
• Provide functional support across core transportation processes such as Order Management, Transportation Planning, Freight Execution, Charge Calculation and Freight Settlement.
• Deliver end‑to‑end AMS services including incident management, service requests, defect resolution and root‑cause analysis according to agreed service levels.
• Conduct impact analysis, testing and quality delivery of changes and enhancements.
• Monitor system health – XML failures, IDocs, queues and related interface elements – to ensure stable day‑to‑day transportation operations.
• Support critical domestic and international shipment operations, ensuring continuity and timely issue resolution.
• Offer user support, functional guidance and knowledge sharing to promote consistent adoption and operational effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in functional support of SAP Transportation Management within S/4HANA or ECC environments.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes including order management, transportation planning, freight execution, charge calculation and settlement.
• Experience in an application maintenance (AMS) setting, handling incidents, service requests and root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to perform impact analysis, testing and quality assurance for system changes.
• Familiarity with integration points across Sales, Procurement, Warehousing and Finance domains.
