Sales Assistant – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term (Maternity Cover)

About the role

As a Sales Assistant covering a six‑month maternity leave, you will work closely with the VP Export Markets Americas and the sales team to ensure smooth operational and administrative processes. This role is based in Panama City and offers the chance to contribute to a premium luxury brand.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, analyse and process monthly purchase orders from clients, ensuring accurate entry in the AX system.
• Validate client orders, manage collateral requests (blotters, testers, samples, PLV) and coordinate with the Traffic department.
• Support payment procedures by processing invoices in Basware.
• Prepare and dispatch urgent courier shipments (FedEx) after sales manager approval.
• Verify client monthly sales reports and perform sales analysis using BI tools as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• At least 1 year of experience in regional distribution, market research or competitive analysis.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities, with a capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
