Rolling Stock Maintenance Technician – Panama

About the role

Alstom is seeking a Rolling Stock Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance Line 2 team in Panama. The role focuses on corrective maintenance of subway wagons, ensuring safety, reliability and compliance with quality standards while supporting greener mobility solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform corrective maintenance operations on subway rolling stock and resolve equipment failures.
• Analyse maintenance software logs to optimise maintenance actions and update the system database.
• Prepare research reports on failures, follow up on recurring issues and propose investigation routes.
• Ensure compliance with internal safety regulations, quality indicators and QCD/RAMS standards.
• Report maintenance results, propose improvements to the maintenance plan and suggest procedural enhancements.
• Maintain a safe work environment in line with Health, Safety and Environmental policies.

Required profile

• Technical training or university degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, preferably with rolling stock or railway equipment.
• Basic English proficiency and solid computer‑user skills.
• Proactive, methodical, organized and analytical mindset with strong teamwork and leadership capabilities.
