Regional Procurement Manager - Packaging

About the role

As a Regional Procurement Manager at Nestlé Global Procurement, you will lead commercial and sourcing activities for Plastic Resins, Films and Paper Board categories used worldwide. You will collaborate with category leaders, suppliers and cross‑functional teams to drive innovation, sustainability and value creation across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Perform supplier market, category and supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership models to identify improvement opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts to secure the most beneficial commercial agreements aligned with Nestlé’s strategy.
• Contribute to the Group’s sustainability commitments and drive initiatives such as carbon reduction and virgin‑plastic reduction.
• Create and execute sourcing strategies for plastic resins, films and paper board, collaborating with business partners and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé’s Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.
• Identify synergies across Nestlé sites to optimise costs and meet company targets.

Required profile

• University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, supplier management and strategic procurement for packaging, preferably plastic resins.
• Proven ability to work in complex, multicultural organisations and develop talent.
• Experience leading sustainability projects within procurement, with strong knowledge of advanced and mechanical recycling, bio‑based plastics, etc.
• Demonstrated success in risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, fluency in English, and understanding of national and international procurement regulations.
