Regional Maintenance Planning Manager

About the role

The Regional Maintenance Planning Manager will act as the subject‑matter expert for maintenance planning across multiple APM Terminals in the region. You will coach terminal planners, drive governance, and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to shift from reactive to proactive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with global maintenance planning and scheduling standards.
• Support terminals in reaching planning‑maturity targets and improving schedule attainment.
• Establish governance routines, conduct performance reviews and facilitate planning workshops.
• Coach and develop terminal Planning Managers and Maintenance Planners.
• Promote effective use of EAM/CMMS systems and work‑management processes.
• Collaborate with reliability teams to enhance asset performance and support preventive/predictive maintenance initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Asset Management or related discipline (preferred).
• 8‑10 years of maintenance planning experience in heavy‑asset industries.
• Proven track record implementing planning and scheduling standards and supporting asset‑management transformation programmes.
• Ability to navigate complex regional environments and drive sustainable change.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CMMS/EAM platforms such as SAP, IFS, Maximo or Infor EAM.
• Advanced maintenance planning and scheduling expertise.
• Data analysis and performance‑reporting capabilities.
• Knowledge of ISO 55000 asset‑lifecycle management principles.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance optimisation.
