Public Relations Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to join our growing Project Management team within a U.S.-based B2B marketing and PR firm. The role reports to the Marketing Operations Leader and is responsible for delivering client projects on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage marketing and PR client accounts and build project timelines.
• Hold internal teams accountable for execution and deadlines.
• Monitor project health, identify risks, and escalate concerns.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and client‑facing teams to ensure strategic alignment.
• Prevent scope creep and maintain adherence to Statements of Work.
• Oversee project documentation, workflows, and resource organization.
• Support operational initiatives that impact the broader organization.
• Participate in client meetings and communications, especially for smaller accounts.

Required profile

• 3+ years of Project Management experience.
• 2+ years supporting marketing teams or working in a marketing, advertising, PR, or digital agency.
• Strong understanding of project planning, execution, prioritization, and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and risk assessment abilities.
• High attention to detail and accountability.
• Public Relations experience is highly desirable.
