Product Compliance Specialist

About the role

The Product Compliance Specialist ensures that all finished products and components meet Lacoste’s Global Testing Requirements and Restricted Substances List throughout the product lifecycle, from development to production.

Key responsibilities

• Assess products each season using the Risk Assessment Tool to identify compliance risks and implement preventive and corrective actions with vendors.
• Manage and monitor testing plans during development and production, ensuring successful completion of compliance stages and timely updates in PLM.
• Handle non‑compliance incidents, defining and closing corrective actions to achieve full compliance.
• Maintain accurate data and certifications in Lacoste systems (PLM, Logility, regulatory portals).
• Provide regular compliance status reports to management and technical guidance to development teams and vendors.
• Develop documentation, guidelines, and training materials to support vendors and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial, Textile Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in textile companies, including at least 2 years in a similar compliance role.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of the textile & apparel lab industry and international certifications (GOTS, BCI, RWS, GRS, Blue Sign, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, Oeko‑Tex).
• Familiarity with testing standards such as AFIRM, AATCC, ASTM and ISO.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; French or Portuguese is a plus.
