Procurement Manager – Warehousing

About the role
Be a force for good and feel trusted to make decisions that matter. As a Global Procurement Manager for Warehousing at Nestlé Global Procurement, you will define and implement the category strategy for 3PL warehousing spend, using strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies while collaborating closely with corporate and zone logistics functions.
Key responsibilities
- Define and align the global category strategy with key stakeholders and drive its implementation across business and local procurement teams.
- Implement strategic sourcing tools and policies such as Request for Quotations (RFQ), supplier management, standardisation and aggregation.
- Conduct market, category and supply‑risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify and execute improvement opportunities.
- Introduce and develop new suppliers in close cooperation with logistics standard owners.
- Negotiate supply contracts to secure the most beneficial commercial agreements, working with the Nestrade Legal team.
- Manage and lead relationships with strategic suppliers within the category scope.
- Ensure compliance with Nestlé’s Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.
Required profile
- Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance or Engineering.
- 10 years of strategic sourcing experience, preferably with regional or global scope in warehousing, logistics or a 3PL environment.
- Proven track record leading cross‑functional projects, driving change and providing strong functional leadership.
- Solid experience in category sourcing, TCO modelling, risk management and Supplier Relationship Management, including claims handling.
- Strong interest in automation, robotics and new technologies with solid use of digital tools and AI.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to influence internal and external global suppliers.
- Fluency in English is essential; Spanish is a plus.
