About the role
As a Private Banking Advisor for the Private Affluent segment, you will work within FNB’s Private Banking & Advisory team to manage and grow a portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients. You will provide analysis, research, and tailored banking solutions while identifying new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively manage a portfolio of private wealth clients alongside a team of Private Bankers.
- Conduct financial analysis and research to identify cross‑selling opportunities.
- Maintain and grow the client base through effective lead pipeline management.
- Develop and nurture collaborative relationships across the Financial Services Group.
- Deliver high‑quality, innovative service that exceeds client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements.
- Monitor performance, seek feedback and pursue relevant training.
Required profile
- Minimum RE5 Certificate with a NQF7 level degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 2–3 years of experience in a sales or service role within a financial environment.
- Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Not an unrehabilitated insolvent person.
