About the role

FNB is seeking a Private Advisor to serve affluent clients, delivering expert guidance on wealth creation, accumulation, and protection. The role focuses on enhancing client experience, driving retention, and contributing to the bank’s growth through strategic money‑management practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional education and service to private and RMB clients on basic wealth‑creation and protection tactics.
  • Increase the Vertical Sales Index (VSI) and strengthen client retention using contextual money‑management principles.
  • Market and explain the full range of financial‑service solutions within the relevant business offering.
  • Manage the leads pipeline to support profit growth and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Build trusted, open relationships with clients and generate new business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements.

Required profile

  • Relevant NQF Level 7 FSCA‑approved degree.
  • RE5 regulatory‑compliance certificates with the appropriate Class of Business.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a sales or service role within a financial environment.
  • FAIS category sign‑off.
