Polish-English Medical Interpreter – Remote

About the role

i-Call International is seeking Polish-English medical interpreters to work remotely. You will enable clear communication between Polish‑speaking patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate exchange of medical information.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and related information between Polish‑speaking patients and clinicians.
• Provide cultural mediation to help patients navigate the healthcare system and assist providers in understanding cultural nuances.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards.
• Document each interpretation session, recording date, time, duration, and type of service.
• Continuously update knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices.

Required profile

• Fluency in both Polish and English.
• Prior experience in interpretation or translation, preferably in a medical setting.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and the healthcare system.
• Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• USB headset for clear audio.
• PC with at least an Intel Core i5 (6th generation or newer) and 8 GB RAM.
• Stable LAN (Ethernet) internet connection.
• HD webcam.
• Minimum 15 Mbps download and upload speed.
