Payer Science Liaison (Panama)

About the role

The Payer Science Liaison will lead the implementation of field access strategies and manage relationships with payers, providers and logistics operators across Panama. The role focuses on communicating clinical and economic value, ensuring treatment continuity and supporting portfolio positioning within the healthcare system.

Key responsibilities

• Implements the field access strategy in line with CVT guidelines.
• Monitors and manages changes in care pathways, contracting models and payment arrangements with payers, providers and logistics operators.
• Develops and maintains strategic relationships with healthcare system stakeholders, presenting portfolio value propositions.
• Coordinates with field teams (MAF and Promo) to identify and implement access solutions that maximize patient access and treatment adherence.

Required profile

• Degree in health sciences, economics or a related field with knowledge of the healthcare system.
• Established relationships with administrative stakeholders at EPS, IPS or logistics operators.
• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.
• Post‑graduate studies in epidemiology, health economics, budget impact analysis or related specialization.
• Solid understanding of care pathways, payment models, regulatory interpretation and data analysis.
• Intermediate or advanced Excel proficiency preferred.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a similar role is preferred.
