Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized Operations Coordinator to join our team in Cristóbal/Balboa, Panama. In this role you will act as the central point of contact for vessel operations, ensuring seamless coordination between ships, clients, and port authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Panama Canal transits, bunker calls and overall port operations.
• Communicate directly with shipowners, captains and port authorities to relay operational updates.
• Prepare and manage documentation, pre-arrival formalities and daily operational reports.
• Maintain smooth execution of tasks to achieve high client satisfaction.
• Support internal teams with administrative and logistics coordination.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Background in maritime, logistics or port agency services is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
