About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Operator to manage and control assigned logistics operations, coordinating shipments, transportation, documentation and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end import, export and domestic shipments, from merchandise availability to final delivery.
• Coordinate with forwarders, shipping lines, carriers, customs agents and warehouses.
• Monitor critical shipment dates such as CRD, booking, cut-off, ETD, ETA, arrival and delivery.
• Validate shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, AWBs and customs certificates.
• Organize cargo consolidations and evaluate shipping alternatives based on volume, ports, dates and costs.
• Track customs clearance, transit and release processes.
• Review freight quotes, local charges and other logistics costs, identifying deviations.
• Handle incidents related to delays, documentation errors, incomplete bookings, discrepancies and extra charges.
• Maintain up-to-date shipment systems, controls and reports.
• Prepare performance indicators and logistics reports for operational monitoring.
• Provide operational instructions to the Traffic Assistant and escalate risks affecting cost, schedule or client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced studies in Logistics, International Trade, Customs, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in international logistics operations.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for written and verbal communication with international partners.
