Medical Manager – Specialty Care

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Junior Medical Manager for Specialty Care to join its Central America & Caribbean team based in Panama City. The role focuses on developing and executing medical strategies for both marketed and pipeline products, working closely with brand teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead scientific discussions with key opinion leaders, medical societies and other influencers to convey product value and drive medical behavior change.
• Provide scientific training and insights to internal teams, ensuring high standards of brand and therapy expertise.
• Deliver market and competitor insights to support strategic decisions on licensing and product positioning.
• Act as primary contact for investigator‑initiated studies, coordinating study execution with the Global Clinical Operations team.
• Represent Janssen at external forums where medical affairs can add value.
• Support communications with patient advocacy groups and respond to clinical inquiries.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a degree in a life‑science discipline.
• Strong understanding of medical affairs and pharmaceutical industry practices.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
