Mechanical BIM Designer (HVAC)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical HVAC BIM Designer to create and coordinate detailed HVAC models and shop drawings using Revit. The role involves daily clash detection, resolving coordination issues across architectural, structural, and MEP systems, and working closely with an in‑house Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Model complete HVAC systems in Revit 2026, including ductwork, equipment, diffusers, grilles and related components.
• Develop mechanical shop drawings from engineer‑provided plans and update reflected ceiling plans.
• Perform daily clash detection and coordination using Navisworks, identify conflicts and propose practical solutions.
• Coordinate HVAC layouts with architectural, structural, plumbing, electrical and fire protection systems.
• Update models based on revisions, engineering comments and project changes, and ensure compliance with mechanical codes and standards.

Required profile

• Experience on commercial, multifamily or mixed‑use projects.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC design, construction management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and respond quickly to revisions.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Strong Navisworks clash detection and coordination experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Trimble SysQue (and related M‑Suite tools).
