Marketing Specialist – Email & Automation

About the role

Toptal is seeking a results‑driven Marketing Specialist to lead email‑marketing initiatives and create high‑quality content across blogs, SEO, and social channels. The role is fully remote and focuses on campaign planning, automation, optimization, and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns from concept through deployment, QA, testing, reporting and continuous improvement.
• Build, manage and refine automated journeys, audience segmentation and triggered campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, copy, calls‑to‑action, send times and audience segments to boost open and click‑through rates.
• Analyze campaign metrics (open, click, conversion, engagement) and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Write, edit and SEO‑optimize blog articles, ensuring alignment with brand voice and target keywords.
• Refresh existing content to improve search rankings.
• Create compelling social‑media copy that supports broader campaign objectives and monitor its performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of marketing experience with a strong focus on email marketing and automation.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality written content for blogs, SEO and social platforms.
• Willingness to learn or deepen expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud if not already familiar.
