Logistics and Warehouse Operations Supervisor – Exports

About the role

The Logistics and Warehouse Operations Supervisor will lead daily warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, inventory control, order preparation, dispatch and distribution of goods. The role also coordinates national and international shipments, maintaining high service levels and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and logistics operations, adhering to internal procedures and standards.
• Plan, assign and monitor operational staff, fostering productivity and teamwork.
• Oversee receipt, storage, order picking, dispatch and distribution processes, ensuring timeliness.
• Manage national and international shipments, communicating with clients, suppliers, freight forwarders and carriers.
• Validate logistics and international trade documentation for legal and commercial compliance.
• Control inventory through cycle counts, reconciliations and authorized adjustments.
• Ensure accurate recording of logistics activities in SAP and validate team‑generated data.
• Coordinate monthly logistics closure, reconciling inventory, costs and administrative records.
• Review supplier invoices, handle claims and assess supplier performance using KPIs.
• Prepare and present performance indicators related to inventory, dispatches, productivity, logistics costs and delivery compliance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in warehouse and logistics processes.
• Act as backup for the Warehouse and Logistics Manager during absences.
• Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance, participating in audits and improvement actions.

Required profile

• Technical or university degree in Logistics, International Trade, Customs, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience supervising warehouse and logistics operations, preferably with export activities.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipment coordination and SAP logistics modules.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and related audit processes.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
