Legal Assistant I – Banking Customer Service

About the role

The Legal Assistant I will support the lawyers of the Customer Service Management (SAC) in a banking environment. The role involves drafting and processing legal documents, handling notifications, and providing secretarial assistance throughout the claims process.

Key responsibilities

• Assist SAC lawyers in preparing and filing process-specific documents.
• Draft resolutions, orders, official notes, and edicts with proper legal justification.
• Manage notifications for claim processes and monitor cases under appeal.
• Prepare draft responses to inquiries received by the Management.
• Participate in standardising criteria for various claim processes together with lawyers.
• Provide secretarial support within the claims workflow and perform any other tasks assigned by the legal team.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Law and Political Science.
• Experience in legal advisory at a law firm, bank, judicial body, or independently.
• Familiarity with legal process terminology and current banking regulations.
• Strong ability to draft legal documents, especially administrative resolutions and orders.
• Good disposition for public interaction.
• Internal candidates must have at least 18 months in the current position and no active disciplinary sanctions.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Microsoft Word.
• Intermediate use of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Outlook and standard office tools.
