About the role

Global Brands is seeking a Jefe de Contabilidad to lead the organization’s financial and accounting functions. The role ensures tax compliance, reliable financial reporting, and continuous improvement of accounting processes to support sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the company’s accounting processes.
• Prepare and present financial statements and related annexes.
• Coordinate tax filings and other fiscal obligations.
• Guarantee the quality and reliability of financial information.
• Manage internal and external audit activities.
• Control accounting procedures and propose enhancements.
• Provide timely financial data for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA license (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supervisory or managerial accounting roles.
• Proven experience in financial statement preparation, accounting processes, and audits.
• Knowledge of tax declarations (ITBMS, Income Tax, Dividends, etc.).
• Strong ethical standards, confidentiality, leadership, and result‑orientation.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
