About the role

The Construction Finish and Close‑out Inspector is responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling the entire project hand‑over process. The role ensures that all construction activities, system installations, functional tests, technical documentation and final acceptance are completed on schedule and meet contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the project close‑out plan, including schedule and responsible parties.
• Coordinate pending works according to drawings and mechanical guides, supervising architectural finish completion.
• Oversee corrections requested by inspection, supervision or client.
• Verify proper operation of all installations and systems before delivery.
• Manage final testing, commissioning and start‑up of equipment and systems.
• Prepare and deliver as‑built drawings and technical documentation (guarantee certificates, quality certificates, data sheets, test protocols).
• Produce progress reports on the close‑out process.

Required profile

• Civil engineering, architecture or a related construction degree.
• Valid professional license issued by the JTIA.
• More than 5 years of experience in similar positions, specifically in project close‑out, termination and hand‑over.
• Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple construction specialties.
• Experience with punch‑list management and As‑Built drawing review.
