Healthcare Appointment Setter - Telehealth Services

About the role

OSA Global Staffing is looking for a highly organized, patient‑focused Healthcare Appointment Setter to support telehealth operations. You will schedule virtual consultations, coordinate provider availability, and ensure patients are prepared for their appointments.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact, scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling telehealth appointments via phone, email or messaging.
• Collect and verify patient information, conduct basic intake, and enter data into the EHR/EMR system.
• Coordinate physician availability, monitor calendars for conflicts, and adjust schedules to maintain workflow.
• Send confirmations, reminders and follow‑up communications to reduce no‑shows.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in healthcare scheduling, medical reception, or patient coordination.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with a compassionate approach.
• Ability to work independently, manage daily scheduling targets and collaborate remotely with healthcare teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with eClinicalWorks or similar EHR/EMR platforms.
• Experience using appointment scheduling software or healthcare CRM systems.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, common health conditions and basic healthcare procedures.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements.
