About the role
The Technical Manager will lead the technical management of CPT PSA Marine's fleet in Panama Business Park, ensuring operational availability, reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance of vessels. This role combines strategic planning, performance monitoring, and team leadership to deliver cost‑effective services to clients.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise execution of preventive and corrective maintenance according to the defined plan.
- Coordinate crew staffing and availability to meet operational requirements.
- Lead operational response to emergencies or incidents on site.
- Manage major investment projects related to fleet maintenance, including dry‑dock periods and overhauls.
Required profile
- Degree in Naval Engineering, Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Merchant Marine, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in leadership positions.
- Demonstrated experience in ship maintenance.
- On‑board experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- Knowledge and management of ISM standards.
