About the role

The company, a long‑standing industrial products distributor in Panama, is seeking a Retail Sales Manager to lead its commercial strategy. You will oversee sales and marketing teams, drive revenue growth, and ensure alignment across all sales channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute retail sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Manage and motivate sales and marketing teams across multiple branches.
• Define product, pricing, promotion, and distribution policies to stay competitive.
• Coordinate with finance to monitor credit portfolio health and enforce credit policies.
• Maintain and strengthen corporate brand image at all customer touchpoints.
• Lead traditional and digital marketing initiatives, including campaigns, social media, e‑commerce, and brand positioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commercial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of senior commercial leadership experience, preferably in distribution, retail, construction materials or hardware sectors.
• Proven experience managing large sales teams and multi‑branch operations.
• Strong knowledge of pricing, promotions, profitability, and distribution channel management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
