About the role

The Reception Manager leads the front‑desk team in a hotel environment, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth operational flow. This role combines leadership, administrative oversight, and coordination with other hotel departments to deliver a seamless stay for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily reception operations, including check‑in, check‑out and room allocation.
• Lead, train and evaluate reception staff, creating work schedules and monitoring productivity.
• Handle guest complaints, special requests and unique situations promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations, Maintenance and Food & Beverage to guarantee an integrated guest experience.
• Manage cash handling, shift closures and other administrative controls.
• Track customer satisfaction indicators and implement continuous‑improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, quality standards, safety regulations and information confidentiality.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum three years of managerial experience in the hospitality sector.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage personnel.
• Strong knowledge of reception, reservation and revenue management processes.
• Advanced level of English and willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Zeus hotel management system.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
