Gerente de Proyectos Residenciales – Iluminación

About the role

We are looking for a Residential Projects Manager to position our client, a leading lighting company in Panama, as a reference for lighting design among architects and interior designers. The role combines technical lighting consultancy with the active building of a professional community that generates a steady flow of residential projects, remodels, and new interior designs where lighting is decisive.

Key responsibilities

• Create and close sales of residential projects and remodels.
• Establish alliances with decorators, designers, and architects to acquire new clients.
• Develop design proposals for residential and interior spaces.
• Advise architects and interior designers on technical and aesthetic product selection.
• Translate design visions into executable, quote‑ready lighting specifications.
• Provide technical follow‑up from specification to final installation, coordinating with commercial and purchasing teams.
• Build and lead an active community of architects, interior designers, and decorators aligned with the brand.
• Organize and participate in events, workshops, showrooms, fairs, and brand activations.
• Maintain long‑term relationships that generate referrals and recurring projects.
• Identify design and lighting trends and integrate them into client conversations and the product portfolio.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or specialized lighting design certification (desirable, not mandatory).
• 6+ years of experience in design, architecture or interior design.
• Strong, recognized network among architects, interior designers and decorators in Panama.
• Experience leading or participating in design‑related events and community initiatives.
• Natural networking ability, elegance, and a high‑level aesthetic presence.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
• Self‑management of social agenda and events balanced with technical deliverables.

Required skills

• Knowledge of lighting design principles (color temperature, lumens, distribution, control/dimming).
• Proficiency with design/render tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, DIALux or similar.
• Ability to translate design concepts into viable technical and commercial proposals.
