About the role

The company seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale infrastructure projects in the water and education sectors. The role is based onsite in La Chorrera, Panama Oeste, and involves full‑time responsibility for project delivery from inception to close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the Contractor before the Employer and Engineer throughout the contract period.
• Direct and coordinate the project, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality targets are met.
• Supervise key personnel such as the Construction Manager, Design Engineer and specialists.
• Manage the contractual relationship with the Employer, including progress meetings, deliverables and reporting.
• Make strategic decisions on risks, scope changes and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, safety, health and environmental requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project reports and participate in coordination meetings.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Required profile

• University degree in Civil, Mechanical, Sanitary, Electromechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, plus a related Master’s degree.
• 15+ years of overall experience, with at least 10 years in managerial or project‑manager positions on hydraulic infrastructure.
• Experience leading a project valued at $50 million or more, with involvement of at least 70 % of its scope or duration.
• Full‑time onsite availability in La Chorrera, preferably residing in Panama Oeste.
