About the role

We are looking for an External Sales and Service Advisor Lead to join FNB’s talent pool in Mpumalanga. In this role you will apply proven sales techniques, build strong client relationships and drive revenue across our banking portfolio.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply sales processes within the assigned area to achieve targets and strengthen client relationships.
  • Retrieve qualified leads from internal pipelines and generate sales through proactive outreach.
  • Source new leads via external contacts and expand the customer base.
  • Contact prospective clients, present appropriate banking products and close sales.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end client journey, from proposal preparation to post‑sale support.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of products, pricing, application procedures and timelines.
  • Analyse competitor information and monitor market trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Track and influence sales activities to meet quality, productivity and target requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, legislation and audit standards.

Required profile

  • Completed FSCA‑recognised FAIS NQF Level 5 qualification or higher.
  • Completed First Level Regulatory Examination.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Strong understanding of market needs and ability to design customised solutions.
  • Ability to cross‑sell and maximise portfolio opportunities.
