Events & Exhibitions CoE Specialist – LATAM

About the role

As a member of ABB’s Events & Exhibitions Center of Expertise, you will lead the planning and delivery of external events and trade shows across the LATAM region. You will translate business and marketing objectives into compelling event experiences while ensuring alignment with global standards and regional market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute external events and trade shows throughout LATAM, managing budgets, suppliers, logistics and on‑site delivery.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align messaging, business goals and event execution.
• Ensure compliance with ABB brand guidelines, governance requirements and CoE standards.
• Measure event effectiveness using KPIs, post‑event reporting and performance analysis, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to the evolution of the global Events & Exhibitions CoE by shaping strategy, processes and capability‑building initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience planning and delivering external events, exhibitions or trade shows in a global or matrixed organization.

Required skills

• Proficiency with event management tools and event technology platforms.
• Experience using registration platforms, lead capture tools and CRM systems.
