Digital, Web and Graphic Designer

About the role

The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) is seeking a home‑based Digital, Web and Graphic Designer to support its Regional Office for the Americas and the Caribbean. The contractor will work under the supervision of the External Relations Officer, creating and adapting visual communication materials that promote UNDRR initiatives and campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Design and layout of print and digital assets such as one‑pagers, brochures, report booklets, social media graphics, and event materials.
• Edit and adapt document layouts to Spanish or other regional languages.
• Create and edit animation products and handle post‑production of audiovisual materials.
• Support visibility of ECHO project activities, UNDRR campaigns (e.g., International Day for DRR, World Tsunami Awareness Day), and wildfire risk‑reduction initiatives.
• Develop graphic materials for the promotion of RP27, RAR27, and EW4All Caribbean activities linked to the CREWS Project.
• Maintain brand guidelines across all creative outputs and assist with marketing, printing, and event branding as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital, web and graphic design, preferably in an international or multilateral environment.
• Ability to work independently from a remote location while meeting deadlines.
• Strong attention to UNDRR brand standards and multilingual document adaptation.
