Data QA Engineer – Enterprise Data

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Data QA Engineer to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of complex enterprise data ecosystems. You will validate ETL pipelines, verify data migrations, and confirm that transformed data aligns with business logic before it reaches analytical layers and decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Validate ETL/ELT processes, referential integrity, constraints, and data normalization.
• Perform functional testing on database objects such as stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to verify data correctness and system integrity.
• Test data pipelines and business logic within BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts for regression and integration testing.
• Identify slow‑running queries, review execution plans, and collaborate with DBAs to improve performance.
• Track defects using JIRA or TestRail and promote data‑quality best practices across teams.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record in data quality assurance.
• Hands‑on experience validating ETL/ELT pipelines and data‑warehousing environments.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
• Experience working with BI reporting tools and test‑automation frameworks.
