About the role
As a Community Advisor for Alternative Channels, you will deliver an exceptional customer experience by understanding client needs, recommending suitable banking products, and guiding customers to digital and self‑service solutions. This 12‑month fixed‑term position is based at the FNB Alternative Channel (Pick ‘n Pay Initiative) and focuses on building strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with all policies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide tailored product solutions and direct customers to the most appropriate service channels, including eChannels and self‑service.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all interactions comply with established policies and processes.
- Analyse customer data to recommend personalised financial solutions.
- Achieve sales targets by identifying opportunities and promoting integrated banking services.
- Educate customers on digital platforms and support their transition to self‑service.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12/NQF Level 4; NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service or related field recognised by FAIS.
- 1–3 years experience in customer‑facing roles within financial services.
- Strong communication, relationship‑building and empathy skills.
- Attention to detail, ethical conduct and accountability for performance.
