Commercial Project Coordinator – Panama

About the role

American Foods is seeking a Commercial Project Coordinator to lead cross‑functional initiatives within its AMI Private Label business. The role is responsible for end‑to‑end project execution, ensuring timely delivery, clear accountability, and alignment across fast‑moving teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build project timelines, define milestones, assign ownership, and track deliverables.
• Lead weekly cross‑functional meetings, follow up on action items, and escalate risks.
• Maintain project dashboards, update status reports, document decisions, and track dependencies.
• Identify execution risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address roadblocks.
• Standardize project management practices, improve governance, create templates, and increase visibility across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2‑4+ years of experience in project coordination, commercial operations, or cross‑functional support, preferably in FMCG/CPG or food distribution.
• Strong organizational abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive accountability without formal authority.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, start‑up‑like environment.

Required skills

• PMP certification or equivalent project management training (preferred).
