Bilingual Junior Treasury Accountant (English/Spanish)

About the role

The company is seeking a bilingual Junior Treasury Accountant to support cash management and accounting activities for its Caribbean operations. The role involves handling payments, bank reconciliations, tax filings and month‑end closing tasks while reporting to the Senior Accountant.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly Payless Caribbean disbursement and store bank account reconciliations.
• Execute weekly foreign‑exchange purchases and new loan requests.
• Prepare and review weekly cash‑flow reports and daily bank balance reports.
• Upload disbursement transactions to SAP and post related bank fees and commissions.
• Process vendor payments on multiple banking platforms, obtain approvals and ensure full payment.
• Post vendor payments in SAP on a weekly basis.
• Assist with local tax submissions (VAT, municipal, corporate) each month.
• Support external audits and month‑end closing activities as assigned.
• Ensure bank compliance and perform any other accounting or finance tasks required by the corporate office.

Required profile

• At least three years of university studies in accounting or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in accounting departments of medium to large companies.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and relationship skills.
