About the role
As a Banking Advisor – Wealth you will work within FNB’s Private Banking and Advisory team to manage and grow a portfolio of private wealth clients. You will combine analysis, research and proactive service to identify new opportunities and deliver high‑quality financial advice.
Key responsibilities
- Provide sound recommendations based on client needs, market trends and current information.
- Administer client accounts efficiently through careful planning, reporting and data updates.
- Compile progress reports to support informed business decisions.
- Manage the leads pipeline and support sales through portfolio analysis and proactive engagement.
- Contribute to profit growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships.
- Achieve financial targets while maintaining high service standards.
- Identify creditworthy prospects and expand the customer base.
- Ensure cost‑effective use of resources and compliance with statutory and policy requirements.
- Deliver innovative, high‑quality advice that exceeds client expectations.
- Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships across FNB and the First Rand Group.
Required profile
- Relevant NQF7 level degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
- Completed RE5 qualification.
- 2–3 years of experience in a sales or service role within a banking or financial environment.
