Assistant Procurement Manager - Processing Equipment

About the role

Nestlé Global Procurement is looking for an Assistant Procurement Manager for Processing Equipment in Panama City, Panama. The role manages commercial and sourcing activities within the global Processing Equipment category, reporting to the Global Category Manager. It is a hybrid, full-time position on a temporary basis of 6 months, starting in January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and run negotiation events to obtain the best total cost of ownership contracts and commercial agreements with suppliers, as approved by the Category Procurement managers.
• Contribute to the global sourcing strategy with regional input by implementing the communication and supplier management plan.
• Support contract negotiations so that commercial agreements align with the strategy.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.
• Support the category team with data analysis and KPIs.

Required profile

• Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance or Engineering, combined with proven procurement experience, ideally in technical categories.
• Track record of developing and implementing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, risks and responsible sourcing initiatives.
• High learning agility and adaptability in a fast-changing global environment.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills, with interest in technical industries.
• Fluency in English is essential; Spanish is a big plus.
