About the role

PwC is seeking an External Audit Assistant to join its Assurance team in Panama City. The role supports external audit engagements for a diverse client base, ranging from fast‑growing companies to large multinational brands. You will work with modern audit tools to add value to client governance and information reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of external audit engagements.
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures.
• Collect, manipulate and analyse client data responsibly.
• Document audit findings and prepare workpapers.
• Communicate with client personnel and internal teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with PwC risk‑management and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Associate‑level candidate with a degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning.
