About the role

Global Business IT, Corp. is seeking a Senior Data Architect to join its financial services team in Panama City. The professional will design, implement, and govern scalable, secure data solutions that align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise data architecture, including modeling, integration, and storage.
• Lead data migration projects to APIs, BPM platforms, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Implement data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate technical requirements into business language.
• Guide and mentor cross‑functional teams in a matrixed environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
• Proven expertise with hybrid on‑premise and cloud architectures.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
