About the role
The Credit Portfolio Control Analyst will work within the Risk Management department to ensure that credit policies are correctly applied to approved loan files. The position involves extensive field work, with about 80% of the time spent visiting clients across Panama.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site reviews of credit exposures disbursed by credit advisors to verify compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and credit methodology.
- Prepare detailed reports summarising the findings of each field visit.
- Support the mitigation of portfolio risk by identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
Required profile
- Proven experience gathering information in the field or supervising micro‑ and small‑business credit portfolios.
- Own vehicle and ability to travel nationwide.
- Residence in Panama.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
