About the role
The Purchasing Analyst will support CPT PSA Marine Panamá by analysing internal demand for goods and services, evaluating market suppliers, and managing purchase spend to meet the company’s standards. The role is based in the Panama Pacifico office and works closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Key responsibilities
- Gather and analyse acquisition needs, historical spend and projected expenses for the organization.
- Identify and recommend beneficial suppliers based on cost, quality and reliability.
- Develop and propose cost‑saving and negotiation strategies.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers in line with the company’s purchasing strategy.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commercial Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, supply‑chain or logistics functions.
- Proven ability to work with procurement processes and vendor management.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with the SAP ERP Purchasing module (mandatory).
